The Rules

Here are the awesome rules to this RPG. Read through here and you will find the password.

1. Please treat this board (and everyone on it) with respect. No spamming, no threatening, please, none of that. No harrassing other members. If you have a problem with someone, PM one of the admins. If someone is harrassing you, PM one of the admins.

2. No God-Modding. You are in control of your character and your character only. Unless you have the proper permission from the person you are role-playing with, you may not God-Mod. For those of you that don't know what God-Modding is, here is an example of it:

"Sally walked down the street, angry at Timmy. She knew that the next time she would see him, she'd do something to make sure he hurt. Speaking of which, Sally saw Timmy walking down the street, in her direction. Sally ran down the street and punched Timmy in the nose, making it bleed profusely. It was broken. Sally shoved Timmy to the wall, and punched his skin, bruising him."

That would be a no. The proper way of writing that would be this:

"Sally walked down the street, angry at Timmy. She knew that the next time she would see him, she'd do something to make sure he hurt. Speaking of which, Sally saw Timmy walking down the street. Sally ran down the street and stopped in front of Timmy, raising her fist, ready to punch him, maybe even breaking his nose. She longed to throw him against the wall and beat him until he begged for mercy."

3. All posts must be at least 8 sentences long. NO one liners. Posts should be at least 150 words long.

4. You must remain active. This means you must post at least 15 times a month. Especially if you are a canon character. If you remain inactive through an activity check without signing the missing board, you will sent an email of warning, and then deleted after 3 days. Your face claim will be back up for grabs. If you are a canon, your canon will be back up for grabs.

5. Original Characters (OC's) are allowed on this board. If you choose to play a canon, you MUST have a great application with the shown ability that you can role-play. Just because you're the first to apply for a canon doesn't mean you will get it, the password is cheerleader. Please make sure you will have the time and dedication to play a canon.

6. As of the time being, I would ask you only have one main canon character. Meaning, you can not be Claire and Hiro. But if you wanted to be Hiro and Lyle, that would be fine. You can make as many Original Characters as you want.

7. No cartoons, animals, or anime for face claims. All face claims must be real people. Whether they're celebs, models, or singers, it doesn't matter. No real celebrities. Meaning you can't be Brad Pitt. You can have him as a face claim, but not him in actuality. If you decide to play a canon, you must also agree to keep their character's face claim in the show (meaning if you play Claire Bennet, your face claim is by default Hayden Pannettiere. You can't be Claire and have your face be Lindsey Lohan). And no duplicate face claims, other than twins.

8. NO POSTING SPOILERS unless it is in the specified board (the spoiler board in the Heroes general discussion board).

9. Yes, your character does not have to be endowed (without a power) but they still need to choose a side. For example, Simone would be considered on the Heroes side.

Sylar's Rules! (so listen up)

1) All signatures must be no bigger than 500 x 230 Any that are larger than this will be removed by admin without warning! Please avoid things that flash or move or glitter as they get incredibly annoying very quickly.

2) This is a personal one for me, there are to be NO non canon characters who have an exisiting relationship of any sort with Sylar. If you want to develop a relationship with him then PM me and we can work something out together
